Quick audit test for video, friends.
Does every major product or service page of your site right now have at least one, specific video about that product or service?
If not, well, that’s what we’re gonna talk about in this quick video.

Invodo just came out with this study. It’s really interesting.
They said that if somebody, a mobile shopper, views a video they’re 1.81 times more likely to buy that particular product or that particular service than somebody that does not view a video about that particular product.
What does this mean?
When we think about all the e-commerce sites out there right now and how many actually have a video next to the specific product?
Too often they do not, and the fact is we’re almost at the point … I mean, we pretty much are, right?
We’re at the point where we want to feel like I’ve seen it before I shop for it. When I say shop what I mean, like, go and purchase the thing.
And so as businesses it is our fundamental responsibility that we’ve got to make sure that there is a video on that page talking about it, showing it … now, you might say, “Marcus, I’ve got a million skews in my system. I’ve got so many products. Where do I start?”
Of course you start with the 20% of your products or services that make the 80% of your revenue.

It’s too late at this point not to be considering this reality.
One video per every product or service, and if we do that we’re gonna be way more successful.
