So you’re doing video, but the question is, is it project based or is it a culture within your company?
Well, that’s what we’re going to talk about in today’s video.
Hey, folks, Marcus Sheridan here.
It’s been fun to watch so many companies finally say, “Yes, we need to embrace this thing called, video.
We’ve got to show it. We can’t just tell it.
But here’s the problem, more often than not, and you probably been there before, just outsource it.
They might get those five or 10 videos a year. It’s one project, they get done with it, and then they don’t do anything else for the rest of the year.
Folks, it is 2018. You’ve heard the stats. By 2019, which is only a few months away, 80% of the content we consume online as buyers, as searchers, as consumers is going to be video-based content. If that is the case, we can’t just say, “Let’s get that video project done.”
We have to see ourselves as a media company.
We have to make video a culture within our organization.
Now, how you do that?
That’s for another video, but the mindset has to be, “We’ve got to move from project to culture.” If you move from project to culture, you’re going to see that your ability to show the story that is you, and your brand, is going to increase dramatically. The trust is going to be higher in the marketplace and it’s going to make all the difference.
So that is our challenge to you.
As always, my friends, let’s go get to work.
