So how do you create that perfect video for your landing pages to dramatically increase conversions?
Well, that’s what we’re gonna talk about in today’s video.
Hey folks, Marcus Sheridan here and you know I’ve been talking a ton about video lately, and the power of video.
And there’s so many different ways that we can integrate it into that sales and marketing and customer experience process, but one of the great untapped, still, still, is using video with landing pages. In other words, any page of your site that has a form that you can fill out.
Think about it, when somebody’s filling out a form and giving away their information online, what are they thinking? What are they fearing? Or like, “Oh, geez, what’s gonna happen?” Right?
We’ve found there’s three major fears or thoughts that a person has in that moment of filling out the form.
Number one: are they gonna spam me to death?
Number two: are they gonna call me to death?
And then number three: what is this process going to look like?
And so, this is what you do, is you create that video and you put it right next to the form, maybe that contact us form or whatever that form is on your site, you put it right next to it, and literally the title is something like, “Should you even fill out this form?” Why that title? Because that’s what they’re thinking.
Don’t over complicate it. That will increase the click through rate of the video.
Now, once they watch the video, you literally could say something like this:
so you’re sitting there and you’re saying to yourself, “Should I even fill out this form?” I get it, you’re worried about us spamming you or calling you, and you wanna know what this process look like, well, that’s what we’re gonna talk about in this video.
And then you go on in the video and you explain it.
And of course at the end of the video you say, “So if you have any more questions make sure you let us know, but otherwise go ahead, fill out that form, we cannot wait talk to you soon.”
See how simple that was?
How many of your competitors right now have a video like that next to their contact us form on their website? Answer?
Nada. Probably none of them.
And if they do, it’s not like that, it’s not effective like that.
Remember, we go at the fear, at the anxiety, head on, we address it head on. And by doing that, they’re like, “Wow! This company’s real, huh, yeah.”
So hopefully, you’ve already stopped watching this video because you’re going and you’re running to your videographer right now, to get that video up on one of your landing pages.
