The question is, when I go to your website, does your business have soul?

That’s what we’re going to talk about in today’s video.
I get asked to look at lots of websites, of course.
It comes with the territory. It’s interesting.
One of the comments that I most often make as I’m observing things is that the site, the company, feels sterile.
In other words, there’s just no soul. What makes it feel like it has soul?
Regardless of what you sell, what makes it feel like that?
You got to have certain things.
What you can’t have is just stock images all over the place. Everybody knows what stock images look like at this point.
I need to see you.
I need to see your people, which is why the images and hopefully the videos are spread out around the site so I can really feel like I’m getting a sense for what they look like, and what they sound like, and how they are.
Do you say things like everybody else? Or do you say things differently?
Do you put a spin on the way that you communicate and the way that you talk? Or is everything so rigid and stiff?
The question is, do you have soul?

Really, is it more towards the sterile side or does it have that feeling? Does it have that energy? Does it have that soul?
If it does, you’re going to attract more business, more customers, more trust. That is what it’s all about.
